| DRAINAGE APPLICATIONS |
| Drainage is a type of grading in the areas where landscaping is done. Rain water is absorbed by the soil. When the soil gets more water, the water starts to flow in the surface and collect in cavities. The remove this water drainage should be done. For the areas with drainage there is a little (minimum slope) slope (generally 1%). This work is done according the direction and flow of water. |

When the water is not drained and the soil does not accept the excess water, because water staying on the surface of soil move very slowly or does not move to lower layers or does not be drained when moving down, grass areas will be always wet, mousiness will be formed and because of high temperatures in summer time fungus diseases will be generated. |

| Drainage system will be realized according to the latest determined soil code in the field by average m2. Primarily geotextile will be laid over the cavities according the soil depth in the main line and capillary line fields, and crushed stone will be put on the geotextile. After placing crushed stone, for main lines larger (1000 mm), and for ancillary lines smaller (80 mm) holed drainflex pipes will be used. Drainflex pipe will be furnished in 1% slope according to leveling instrument measurement on site. Main lines and ancillary lines will be connected to each other by T pipes. It is significant to use these fittings in connection places. Open end of capillary lines will be covered by strainers to enable air circulation. Before covering with soil, tests and controls will be performed by giving water to the channels, and drainage system will be completed. Drainage system will be operating by connecting them only to rain water manholes, which are certain on site. |
